How much does tax preparation cost?
We quote a fixed fee after a brief intake call, based on the complexity of your return. Simple W-2 returns start at a baseline rate; returns with schedules, rental income, or business activity are quoted after we see your prior-year return. You approve the fee before any work begins.
Do you handle amended returns or IRS notices?
Yes. Amended returns (1040-X) and responses to IRS or Arkansas DFA notices are handled as separate engagements with their own fixed quotes. If we prepared your original return, we'll review the notice with you at no additional charge.
Can I send you my documents through the website?
Please don't. Our contact form is for initial inquiries only — do not attach SSNs, prior-year returns, bank statements, or financial documents. After we review your inquiry, we'll set up a secure portal or encrypted channel for document exchange.
Do you work with clients outside Central Arkansas?
For individual tax preparation, yes — we can prepare federal returns for residents of any state. For bookkeeping and state-specific work, we focus on Arkansas-based clients.
